1. I can't open the files, can you help?
if you are not sure how to open your files, you may need a program to assist you.

2. I ordered the wrong version, what do i do?
If you ordered the wrong version, in most cases we will be able to upload to you via dropbox. In some cases the files may be too big in which case you will be given specific instructions on how to download directly from our servers to yours. To have it set on another drive will cost extra.
Installation
Installation Services:
If you are not tech savvy or not sure you can install correctly, we have 3 ways we can help:
1. We will install for you at the pick up location. All you will need is your laptop/cpu or hard drive. We recommend you remove or use a fake password that can be reset after installation. An additional $20 will be charged for the installation service and time.
2. We can assist you through Skype, FaceTime, Email or SMS messaging.
3. We are able to take control of your computer using 3rd party software. With this technology we can install to your computer from our location! You will need to install some software (free) for this to work. It is 100% safe and you can see all that is going on from your computer screen. Once we are finished, you are free to delete the software or deny us permission to access your cpu again if you are a bit hesitant.

so there is Windows(PC) and there is Mac(OSX). and then you have software engineers. some design strictly for mac and the same applies for pc. it is possible to run mac on some window's installs and vice-versa. examples: Wine, CrossOver, Boot Camp

a digital audio workstation is the platform you use to create or edit your work. think of this as the foundation. these tend to be the most expensive, but it's worth investing the money. examples of the different available DAWs would be: Pro Tools, Logic, Reason, Ableton, Fruity Loops, etc.

Plugins
most people into digital media creation of some sort have heard the term plugin. in music editing a plugin is a piece of software designed to achieve a certain sound. reverbs, limiters, gates, expanders etc. companies make plugins that often try to copy the same sound you could achieve from really expensive gear or classic gear that we just dont get anymore. waves, mcdsp, izotope, sylenth, autotune, all examples of plugins. in video & photo editing plugins often work as extensions to programs. giving you extra features or allowing you to alter them.

Editing
no matter if you're attempting photo editing or video editing it's good to have the control to do so. Photo Shop, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, iMovie etc. are all great platforms to start.
